After you memorize the characters from a first list, you have to find out which ones have been replaced in a second list.

The main brain area that is involved in this task is the right temporal lobe. This exercise helps strengthen visual memory, spatial memory and visual concentration. Visual memory is a part of memory preserving some characteristics of our senses pertaining to visual experience. We are able to place in memory information that resembles objects, symbols, places, animals or people in sort of a mental image. This exercise requires rapidity, a good visual analysis of characters, and attention to detail.
